Earlier this year I released my warming up poster and I’ve gotten such great response from it. Which is why I decided to create NEW BONUS exclusive golf fitness instructions for you this whole month. I know most of you are already on the journey of optimising your golf & health, I still believe this warming up video has great value for you. You’ll practice an efficient routine that leaves you energised and ready for the high impact rotational golfswing.

The WARMING UP IS THE LOW HANING FRUIT FOR MANY GOLFERS.


My colleague Alex Ehlert who's a PhD candidate studying sport performance recently shared these key findings from his review on golf warm-ups:


1. Most amateur golfers don't warm-up properly 2. Warming up may be associated with injury, but need more studies with clear definitions 3. Dynamic warm-ups: performance; static stretching may performance

A dynamic warm-up before golfing can have many benefits (see infographic). But Fradkin et al (2003) surveyed 1040 golfers and found that ~70% never or seldom warm-up. Notably, ~85% didn’t know how to warm-up. But those that did were 3x more likely to take the time to warm up.



In my opinion and from my experience, it is thanks to golfers just like YOU that there is a culture shift happening. That it slowly is becoming more accepted to do the warming up on the ranges. And this is very important because it stimulates compliance to the warm up routine.
